What the myPPCDL mock includes

The official SP English test listing confirms the official question count, duration and passing score. Matching those settings does not make our questions official or reproduce the examination. The live test is administered separately by SP.

Full mock mode requires course membership. If you want to see our explanation style first, try the ten free practice questions. That sample is untimed and is not presented as a complete mock examination.

Before you start the clock

Use a mock when you have already worked through several topics. If most terms still feel unfamiliar, an illustrated lesson and a short practice session will give you more useful feedback than guessing through a full paper.

Choose a quiet session, use a charged device and avoid opening notes or searching while answering. Those are suggestions for a more informative practice result, not extra conditions imposed by the official examiner.

Start from your chosen course plan, verify your email and open Mock exam in the learning app. Returning members can sign in and use their current access. A Study Book purchase alone does not unlock app mock exams.

Work from the situation, not the answer pattern

Read what is stated before deciding what to do. A familiar diagram can appear in a different situation; a familiar number can be attached to a different unit. In a calculation, make the units agree before multiplying or dividing.

For an unfamiliar question, identify what you do know. Is it asking for recognition, an applicable rule or a numerical result? That makes a later review more useful: you can distinguish a missing fact from a rushed reading mistake.

The countdown adds a timing constraint, but speed is not the only goal. Use your result to decide which explanations need another visit. Repeatedly guessing correctly does not establish that you can explain a concept.

The review is part of the study

After submission, read the explanation for each incorrect or uncertain answer. Write one short note: “I missed the direction of buoyage,” for example, or “I used minutes without converting to hours.” Return to that topic in Learn or Practice.

Try another attempt after you have done that work. A stronger result on a different selection is more informative than memorising the order of a paper you have just seen. Neither a single pass nor a run of practice passes guarantees your official result.

Use our revision plan to connect lesson work, examples and recall. Keep the official booking and document checklist separate from your app score: you still need to meet the actual course and examination requirements.
